Step 1
You must store your photo on a web host/server. Photos stored only on your computer will not work. Geocities, Angelfire,
Xoom, FortuneCity, and Angelfire do not support remote loading
so it will not work if you store your photo at one of these sites. We recommend if you do not have a web site and need a place to store your photo for free that you try Bravenet Photo Center

Step 2
Place your mouse pointer over your photo and press the right button on your mouse. A menu should appear with Properties at the bottom. Click Properties and a new window will appear. |

Step 3
Copy the url. Either write it down on a piece of paper or drag your mouse across the url to highlight it.While the text is still highlighted press Ctrl C on your keyboard to copy it. |

Step 4
If you have written down your url then you need to type it in the url sign up information form on thehotmeter.com. If you have gone through steps one two three and have chosen to use the Ctrl C method of copying the url then all you need to do is click your cursor in the box that says url on the sign up form at The Hot Meter and press Ctrl V on your keyboard. |
